Pilates and the Franklin Method®
The Franklin Method® distinguishes itself by focusing on imagery, self-touch and movement exercises that can be performed in any movement setting. All types of imagery are used to promote motivation, movement and general health. The Franklin Method demonstrates that embodying function improves function.

In this workshop Laura Peterson, Level 4 Franklin Method® Educator and Stacy Brenner, STOTT Pilates® Certified Instructor, will lead you on a 2-hour Pilates based movement and anatomy journey incorporating the Franklin Method®.
Combining common mat Pilates exercises with the Franklin Method we will focus on the practical application of imagery techniques to increase the power, alignment and flexibility of the shoulder girdle joints and muscles.
Laura will lead you on an exploratory and practical journey of these key points. Following each bone rhythm, Stacy will revisit the Pilates exercises previously taught and will apply a bone rhythm for better connection and efficiency of the movement.
Experience the power of imagery, touch and movement exercises to lengthen and balance shoulder and neck musculature. Learn how to melt away tension and associated mental anxiety. Learn the experiential anatomy of the shoulder girdle and benefit from an increased awareness into the function and interaction of joints and muscles.
